josh I’am sorry I had to laugh.but the fact is.if anything can go wrong it will.hurry up and wait was typical of the military.
I don’t think it would have mattered how prepared you were.

Great post Josh. Many moons ago I was participating in these things from time to time. It was funny to see the perspective on one of these hurry up and wait competitions from the other side of the ropes. Like you said, at least you hadn’t travelled halfway around the world for that…

Many moons ago I participated in some of those hurry-up-and wait competitions, it was funny to get the prospective from the other side. At least you weren’t the only “red badger,” and you only had to drive an hour.
Think of the poor b@stards who travelled from Europe to sit in a gym in Annapolis….
