Access Denied: O’Malley Advisor Denies Request for School Board Recommendations

The Dagger | Local News With an Edge: Latest post

Gov. Martin O’Malley Advisor Pat Foerster will not disclose the recommendations made by public officials in support of Harford County Board of Education appointees Alysson Krchnavy and Leonard Wheeler.

In a letter dated July 25th, Foerster responded to our request that this information be released.  For the record, we did not cite any statutes; we simply asked that the documents be made available as a matter of public record.

so Cindy……what to do now?…you want discloser and you cant get it…you want results and cant get it.

Many people dont understand that the place to chop the arrogance out of politics is at the smallest levels. Its a rare bird that retains integrity and common bond with the people. By not going after the little things in the beginning of a politicians carreer or / and when hes at the local level you allow him to grow in arrogance and the disconnect span widens. Mayors and councilman of small towns become county councilman and than deligates and senators…Fed , State and local.

No issue is small enough to warrent being ignored !

Ignorance of an issue is fertilizer !

You might try asking the people involved to release these records. The law is pretty strict about releasing personal information about government employees so its not surprising that they denied it.

Got something to say?
