Actually, it was a deputy who got hit by a car, not a deputy’s car that got hit. After that happened and some of the deputies on scene were trying to get the driver and passenger (who was busy trying to swallow a bag of marijuana) out of the car a crowd of about 40 people started converging on the deputies in a threatening manner which is why the “signal 13″ was called and why there ended up being somewhere around 35 officers at Tully’s.

Im going to point out some interesting things you say HC, Fist:to quote you ” see how different and NOT AS VIOLENT”, o, so it wasnt as violent as the police report said, as violent, but it was still violent?, just not that violent? Your point has failed to reach me HC, and Ill tell you again, this could have happened anywhere, but it didnt, it happened at tullys, like it always does. You can change the name every week but you cant change the atmosphere, its good to have you back Mo’s. Second : Shock value stories. Really, of all the bad things that could have happened anywhere on halloween it happened at tullys. SOMEONE GOT ASSAULTED WITH A KNIFE and a DEPUTIES CAR GOT RAMMED. BEing that this is a local news source Id say that constitutes local news, not shock value reporting lol. I guess since this sites a joke that the negative publicity wont be hurting tullys business any huh? O and to quote tullys website. ” everyone had a safe time at tullys on halloween” yeah, except that guy with the knife in his back.

a chace? please enlighten me with what chace your refering to….an the basis for my complaint (if you would actually do some research on what your are comenting on!) is read the HCSO police report an see how different and not as violent it makes everything sound and that security did a fantastic job…so the fact that 2 police reports were used for this same story just shows me how this garbage web site just picks and cooses shock value stories and swings it whatever way they want….so if you werent up there an saw what happened you have no basis for any kind of argument…what a joke you are BPB an what a joke this site is!

Overkill???? Better to have too many cops than not enough. Its called a show of force and it keeps the rest of the people from ganging up on the police. HC would you rather there were not enough police so maybe they could assault the officer and take his gun? Im not sure what your basis for comment even is. two different police departments, two different occurrences, same place and time, just like the article says. Obviously there was a reason they were driving around tullys all night, because its not such a nice place. And look what happened, a chase, an assault, and a stabbing. But theres no need for police and its overkill. HC what a joke you are.

It’s true that this is different. The first one was a press release from MSP and what their troopers were involved in that night. This is the one released by HCSO and what their deputies did. Both were sent out to the public. Just fyi…

Why is everybody whining about the second article. If you heard enough in the first one then no one is forcing you to read the second. This article covered aspects not covered in the first including the names and account of the idiots trying to run down deputies.
