If the virus 'mutates', the current H1N1 vaccine is utterly useless. There is absolutely no justification, scientifically, to submit to the vaccine....except to 'use up' the supplies that were PAID FOR by US, the American tax payers. If you've already had the swine flu, you might want to investigate the known risks of submitting to this 'novel' vaccine. I know I did. My 7 year old got H1N1 and a wonderful secondary infection that almost landed her in the hospital. Her school has still not gotten the vaccine but I would guess between 30-50% of the children at the school at least have already had the virus. Our pediatrician managed to squeeze my younger daughter in so hopefully she doesn't get it. Alot of parents might have thought they signed the permission slips because the seasonal vaccine permission slip had come out earlier and was most likely signed and returned.
