From Harford County government:
Harford County Executive David R. Craig, along with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Robert Tomback and Christopher Galm, from the U. S. Department of Energy will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and press event to highlight the new energy efficient roof at the Ring Factory Elementary School in Bel Air. The new energy efficient roof supports County Executive Craig’s environmental initiatives to help provide for a sustainable future for the citizens of Harford County.
Ring Factory Elementary will be the first school in Harford County to implement “cool roof” technology. The project is collaboration between Harford County Government, Harford County Public Schools & the U.S. Department of Energy.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7 at Ring Factory Elementary School on Emmorton Road in Bel Air.
