NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN ON MD 24 AT MD 924/TOLLGATE ROAD
Weather permitting, at approximately 5 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, a new traffic pattern will be implemented at MD 24 and MD 924 (Emmorton Road) and Tollgate Road which will close the temporary intersection and shift vehicles onto the new, permanent intersection. BE PREPARED FOR DELAYS.
To prepare for the opening, single-lane closures and periodic traffic drags may be in effect beginning Wednesday, May 25 at approximately 7 p.m. and continuing until 5 a.m. Thursday, May 26, on all intersection approaches (northbound and southbound MD 24, MD 924 and Tollgate Road). During the traffic drags, police will bring vehicles to a reduced pace prior to the work zone. In the event of inclement weather, the work may take place Thursday night info Friday morning.
In response to many inquiries on the subject, I pass along the following information from Delegate Norman:
