Damage to the home was estimated at $75,000 and damages to its contents were estimated at $20,000. The cause of the fire was ruled accidental, and traced to an unknown electrical malfunction in the home’s breaker box.
On Saturday, a resident of the Meadow Wood Townhomes in Edgewood discovered two explosive devices shortly before noon at the intersection of Ironwood Court and Meadow Wood Drive. The detonated devices were termed “bottle bombs” by the Deputy State Fire Marshal who responded to the scene.
