Due to recent water related accidents in Deer Creek at Rocks State Park, MD Dept of Natural Resources have put into effect certain restrictions pertaining to tubing in parts of Deer Creek. Make sure you read the signs and pay respect to the dangerous water currents.

June 12 The Historical Society of Harford County is pleased to present “The History of the Canning Industry in Harford County” at the Historical Society Headquarters, 143 North Main Street, Bel Air (the Old Post Office Building). June – 18 – 19 The Friends of Jerusalem Mill announce the 8th annual reenactment of Major Harry W. Gilmor’s 1864 raid across Baltimore and Harford Counties June 18 from 9 am to 8 pm and Sunday, June 19 from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Enjoy watching the military activities, interacting with history interpreters and soldiers, and listening to Civil War era music. Included in the schedule will be a 19th Century Baseball game. Admission each day is $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and a special family rate of $25 for 2 adults with 3 or more children. Children under 5 are free.
