From the Office of the State Fire Marshal:
ABINGDON, MD (June 23, 2011) – A joint investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Harford County Sheriff’s Office and Bel Air Police Department has resulted in charges being brought against, Andrew M. Dejuliis, 25, of Abingdon for his involvement with two Molotov cocktails.
The incident originally occurred on April 25, 2011 at approximately 11:45 p.m. in the front yard of 2920 Shelley Court in Abingdon, Harford County. The evidence and subsequent investigation revealed Dejuliis was responsible for making
and deploying both Molotov cocktails at the two story wood frame townhouse owned by Kathy Keyser. No structural damage or injuries were reported for this incident.
Dejuliis turned himself in at the Harford County Detention Center on the evening of June 22, 2011 without incident. He has been charged with: Manufacture, Possession and Distribution of Destructive Devices, Attempted Arson 1st Degree, Threat of Arson and Reckless Endangerment. If found guilty of the charges, Dejuliis faces penalties of up to 70 years imprisonment and/or $315,000 in fines. He is currently held at the Harford County Detention Center on $500,000 bond.
