From the Aberdeen Police Department:
Employees of the Rite Aid pharmacy located at 15 W. Bel Air Ave. were surprised early Thursday morning when Donald S. Jarvis entered the store and robbed it at gunpoint. Jarvis was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and mask during the robbery in an attempt to conceal his identity. The store employees were ordered to surrender specific prescription medications and complied. Jarvis fled the scene on foot.
The Aberdeen Police Department responded to the report of an armed robbery and quickly identified the suspect fleeing across the unit block of Philadelphia Blvd. Aberdeen Police chased the suspect on foot ultimately cornering the suspect in the unit block of Aberdeen Ave. Aberdeen Police entered the residence and arrested Jarvis without incident.
Police were able to successfully recover all items stolen during the robbery. Investigators determined the weapon displayed during the robbery was a pellet gun.
Jarvis was charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft, and first degree assault.

Mind you, these are pharmacies who are aware that people are trying to obtain controlled substances with forged prescriptions – but instead of alerting the police and delaying the perpetrators to be picked up, they simply ban them from the store. Essentially kicking the can down the road. Please note Pharmacists: these people will hurt others. Thanks for your considered responsibility in keeping them from doing it again somewhere else.
