SHA REPAIRS A SECTION OF MD 23 (NORRISVILLE ROAD) IN HARFORD COUNTY THIS SPRING
Motorists Advised to Plan Ahead for Extra Travel Time for Flagging Operations in Work Zone
(March 13, 2012) – The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) has begun a $600,000 project to repair and patch sections of pavement along MD 23 (Norrisville Road) between Harford Creamery Road and New Park Road in Harford County. Work began on Monday, March 12.
Contractor crews will repair and patch damaged sections of the pavement and will need to close lanes between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday. During lane closures, sections of the two-lane roadway will be reduced to one lane, with flagpersons controlling two-way traffic within the work zone. SHA advises motorists to plan ahead for extra travel time and look ahead for flagging operations in the work zone.
SHA’s contractor for the resurfacing project is Gray and Son, Inc. of Timonium. Weather permitting, SHA anticipates completing pavement repairs by late spring.

Motorists Advised to Plan Ahead for Extra Travel Time, Flagging Operations in Work Zone
The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) is beginning a $1 million project to repair damaged pavement along MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) in eastern Harford County. Work began Monday, March 12.
Contractor crews will patch, mill and resurface MD 7 between the Baltimore/Harford County Line and MD 152 (Mountain Road). Lane closures and flagging operations may occur along sections of MD 7 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday. During lane closures, sections of the two-lane roadway will be reduced to one lane, with flagpersons controlling two-way traffic within the work zone. SHA advises motorists to plan ahead for extra travel time along MD 7 and look ahead for flagging operations in the work zone.
