Fire officials are seeking information in connection with a fire which broke out in a shed at a Havre de Grace residence just after midnight Wednesday.
According to a release from the state fire marshal’s office, the fire was reported at 12:17 p.m. by the owner of a shed located at a home in the 800 block of Martin Road in Havre de Grace. A total of 20 firefighters from the Havre de Grace and Level fire companies brought the blaze under control in about 10 minutes.
Damage to the 12-foot by 16-foot custom shed was estimated at $8,000, while damages to its contents were estimated at $4,000, the fire marshal’s office said.
The origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northeast Regional office of the State Fire Marshal in Bel Air at (410) 836-4844.
