What party of ILLEGAL do people not understand. My family worked hard to come to this country LEGALLY! We fell like we are being slapped in the face every time we see benefits give to those who choose to break the law.
ALEX R says
Juan,
My family also came thru the front door legally and did what was required to get here and to remain here legally. I understand that you are unhappy that some folks, especially in Maryland, want to push those coming here illegally to the front of the line ahead of those that are coming legally. That’s Maryland and the Democrats and Casa. It’s what they do and they are proud to do it. Your sacrifice and that of your family and of my family to obey the law and follow the legal process to come to the USA and become a citizen is being spit on every day by people who see it as a political advantage to themselves to get as many illegals here as possible.

The only support Maryland should be giving illegal aliens are free baloney sandwiches and toilet paper while waiting in jail for the feds to bus them back to Mexico/Canada/Whereever.
ALEX R says
Kharn,
That was harsh, man. Really harsh. I don’t agree that they should be here but remember Maryland is a sanctuary state. What does that mean in reality? I think it means that if they can break enough laws to get here we will give them a wink and a nod and a voters card and a driver’s license and a job and a free education thru high school and then a discount on college, etc.
I suspect that if I were in their place I would do the same thing knowing that in the USA there are laws that are enforced and laws that some have chosen to not enforce for their personal political expediency. I feel sorry for a lot of the people in Mexico that are driven to the extreme of coming here illegally but we are a big enough and smart enough country to address that problem with something other than winking and nodding at illegal immigration for the political expediency of the Lib/Dems.

I think we should have a “Adopt a Illegal Day” here in Maryland. Every supporter of this criminal activity can adopt an illegal, pay for their health care, food, shelter, education and legal fees. Oops, I forgot. The Democrats in the General Assembly have already taken care of that except they use my money to do it. You only get what you vote for folks.

What a disgrace the Democrats have become.

Oh please…. spare me your adoration of all things Cheney and Bush. Spare me the Republicans dependence on evangelicals and almost mindless support for Israel as if they can usher in Judgement Day. Spare me the failure to recognize that Iraq was a spectacle designed to shock and awe and just casually spend a trillion dollars for an unsteady peace next to a country that used to be held in check by its ruthless dictator. Spare me the notion that somehow business is far more important than people and that conservative social issues are not government messing in the private lives of the citizens. Please spare me all the stories of how much they are interested in keeping us free while dictating to us how we should behave and think. And while you’re at it, tell me why there are just as many who speak with vitriol about the right. You’re not helping.
