News from our churches:
St. James UAME Church on Cedar Church Road in Darlington had our first Tent Service . The men of St. James worked hard on Saturday setting up the tent and preparing the musical equipment and chairs to be taken out on Sunday morning. It was well attended for we had to set up more chairs to receive the overflow!
It was so nice to sit and enjoy the beauty of God’s nature. It was rather warm that day but the Holy Spirit breathed on us every once in a while with a breeze that only He can give. A picnic lunch was also enjoyed by all after the service in the Dutton Hall.
Hopefully this will be held again and God will be glorified as we worship and enjoy his creation..
–Rev Eric McClain -Pastor
