From the Maryland State Police:
(FALLSTON, MD) – On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack were dispatched to the Exxon Gas Station located at 2940 Emmorton Road Abingdon, MD 21009 for an armed robbery. Upon making contact with the victim troopers learned that an unidentified white male entered the store at approximately 0011 hours. Upon entering the store the suspect walked behind the counter, displayed a knife and made the store clerk open the cash registers. The suspect then removed approximately $332.00 in United States currency.
Then on Saturday, October 13, 2012, troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack were dispatched to the Sunoco Gas Station located at 1319 Riverside Parkway Belcamp, MD 21017 for an armed robbery. Upon making contact with the victim troopers learned that an unidentified white male entered the store shortly before midnight. After entering the store the suspect placed his hood over his head in an attempt to hide his identity. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded the attendant open the cash registers. The suspect then removed approximately $700.00 in United States currency.
Through the combined investigative effort and collaboration with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office the suspect was later identified as Lucas Wade Larsen W/M 10/7/90. Working in partnership with the Maryland State Apprehension Team, Harford County Sheriff’s Office and troopers from both the Westminster and Bel Air Barracks apprehend Lucas Larsen on November 5, 2012, at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Lucas Larsen was charged with the following:
CR 3-202 Assault -First Degree
CR 3-203 Assault- Second Degree
CR 3-204(a) (1) Reckless Endangerment
CR 3-403 Armed Robbery
CR 7-104 Theft: Less $1000
