From the Aberdeen Police Department:
December 17, 1012- Aberdeen, MD – On Saturday night, December 15th at about 7 p.m. patrol officers responded to the Days Inn in the 700 block of W. Bel Air Ave. for a reported armed robbery.
The motel clerk reported that a black male about six feet tall wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and ski mask entered the business produced a handgun and announced a robbery. The suspect fled towards the Aberdeen Shopping Plaza after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.
Responding officers located one subject in the immediate area that fit the description on the robbery suspect. The subject, Timothy Bowman 18, of the first block of East Bel Air Avenue was arrested after being identified in surveillance video taken during the robbery at the Day Inn.
Detectives continued the investigation and have charged Bowman and his brother Michael A Bowman 22, of the 1200 block of Battery Drive, Havre De Grace with the robbery at the Days Inn as well as robberies that occurred at the Clark Pawn Shop on South Philadelphia Boulevard on November 21, 2012 and the Cricket Store on Middleton Lane that occurred on November 30, 2012.
Both are being held at the Harford County Detention Center on $500,000 bond.
A 16 year old female from the 100 block of Farm Road, Aberdeen has also been charged as an accessory after the fact. She has been released to her parents.
