From the office of Del. Glen Glass:
Maryland State Delegate Glen Glass, (R-Harford, Cecil), today was appointed by the Speaker of the House of Delegates to serve on the House Judiciary Committee.
“I am honored to have been chosen to serve in this position,” Glass said. “The House Judiciary Committee will certainly be at the forefront of some of the most significant issues facing Maryland and District 34 A, including protecting Constitutional freedoms such as protecting the Second Amendment and civil liberties, oversight of the Departments of Justice, legal and regulatory reform, innovation, competition and anti-trust laws, terrorism and crime, immigration reform, death penalty and pit-bull legislation. It is likely that many of these issues will be the deciding factors in determining the future direction of our state.”
Delegate Glass had been an active Member of the Ways and Means Committee since arriving in Annapolis.
Delegate Glass said “I will play a key role in promoting common sense solutions to help people get back to work, lighten the regulatory and tax burden on small businesses, and limit wasteful government spending.”
In addition to being appointed to the House Judiciary Committee, Glass currently serves as a member of the Veterans Caucus.
