“Stalking: Keeping Our Loved Ones Safe” was the theme of the third Community Conversation sponsored by the Harford County Department of Community Service Commission for Women. The discussion focused on Stalking and ways to protect yourself.
Panelists included community leaders: Barbara Przybylski, Absolute Security and Investigative Services; Gwendolyn Tate, SARC (Safety Awareness Resource Change); Alison Healy, State’s Attorney’s Office; and Corp. Lisa Lane, Harford County Sherriff’s Domestic Violence Unit. Jonita D. Shoaff, Harford County Commission for Women, and Program Coordinator of W.A.G.E. Connection at Harford Community College served as Moderator.
A large group attended the Community Conversation on Stalking. Folks also had an opportunity to participate in a question and answer period. Panelists responded with strategies for protecting stalking victims and their families.
The Harford County Commission for Women is an advisory board consisting of 15 volunteer members, representing the County’s districts, appointed by the County Executive, and confirmed by the County Council. All members serve three-year terms, and the chair is appointed by the County Executive. Ronnie Davis is the current Chairwoman for the Harford County Commission for Women.
