From Harford County Councilman “Capt’n” Jim McMahan:
This month marks the 50th Anniversary of the erecting of the Bel Air Town Hall on Hickory Ave in Bel Air. Prior to the building of the present structure the “Town Fathers” and administration met in various locations, the last in a WWII style corrugated building at the dead end of Pennsylvania Ave.
In a coming issue I will send my annual report on my attendance at this year’s Md. Association of Counties meeting in Ocean City. It was another very informative year with lots of changes affecting citizens.
