Friends School of Harford welcomed Paula Moraine, M.Ed. as Interim Director of Admissions this fall.
Dr. Moraine has been a teacher in elementary and high school classrooms, an adult educator, and an educational administrator. She has lectured widely in the U.S. and abroad, leading workshops and seminars on child development, education and parenting. She has lived and taught in the US, Germany, and Scotland. Paula was part of the administrative and instructional team for the BA in Curative Education through the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Currently she is the President of the Maryland Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. She is the author of ‘Helping Students Take Control of Everyday Executive Functions – The Attention Fix’. She is in private practice in Bel Air MD as a tutor, coach and mentor.
Teachers, staff, and parents are pleased to share Dr. Moraine’s experience and expertise in all aspects of education as she takes on the responsibility of Director of Admissions.
