From Harford Family House:
Gift will support one year of housing and support services for families living in Emergency Shelter Apartments at Harford Family House
Harford Family House (“HFH”), the County’s largest provider of transitional housing for families with children in Harford County, recently received a $10,000 donation from Rosedale Federal Savings and Loan Association (“Rosedale Federal”) to support one year of housing and support services for a family living in an Emergency Shelter Apartment.
“Rosedale Federal is a generous supporter of the work of Harford Family House. Their gift will cover expenses for a full year of emergency housing, six months each for two families in need,” reports HFH Director Joyce Duffy. “Harford Family House’s Emergency Shelter Apartments are the only ones in Harford County that are designated for families experiencing homelessness. These apartments fill a crucial need by providing stability for Harford County families in crisis. Once again, we wholeheartedly thank Rosedale Federal for supporting this important need.”
“We recognize the vital assistance that Harford Family House provides to some of the most vulnerable people in our community,” said Thomas S. Wintz Sr., President and CEO of Rosedale Federal. “It is our privilege to partner with them to serve Harford County residents in this important way.”
hmmm... says
How nice for Mr. Wintz. It must be quite heartwarming to play the philanthropist with other people’s money… what is your bank paying on accounts these days?
