From Harford County government:
County Executive Barry Glassman issued the following statement Thursday upon signing union contracts with representatives from AFSCME and the Maryland Classified Employees Association (MCEA), representing county employees.
“I was pleased to sign union contracts allowing us to reinvest in our valued county workforce with $1,000 merit increases for qualifying employees next year. These increases are fully funded through cost-savings identified by my administration in our budget for the fiscal year 2016.”
