From the Bel Air Independence Day Committee:
The Bel Air Independence Day Committee announces that there are still a few openings available for participation in the Saturday, July 4, 2015, Independence Day Parade through the Town of Bel Air.
The committee urges interested bands, scout troops, churches, civic groups, clubs, individuals and businesses to get their applications in by the Monday, June 15, 2015, deadline.
“We still have room for a few good floats and marching units and commercial units! We particularly are looking for SCOUTING GROUP—cubs, tigers, webelos, wolves, daisies, and more. And equestrian units!” says Parade Chair Michael Blum. “Getting together and marching or riding in the Bel Air July 4th Parade is a great way to keep a troop going over the summer!”
The committee is also looking for comic or novelty acts, and patriotic acts in keeping with this year’s parade theme, “An Olde-Fashioned Fourth of July.” Full information, parade rules, and on-line and hard copy applications are available at http://www.belairjuly4.org.
“The application deadline is almost here,” adds Blum. “Interested paraders should go on-line and fill out the form!” he states.
