We would expect to see Bill the entire crew from concerned citizens for evamar, Fred and the no regent house nuts and Big gary and the wal mart haters all in attendance to protest this continued development.
But we won’t because further evidence if it’s not in their back yard they really don’t care,

You clearly have no idea what’s going on, nor do you care about the underlying issues. If you did, you’d understand why people aren’t protesting Lorien – Forest Hill. So let’s compare Lorien with Eva Mar, as one example:
MASTER PLAN: Lorien is properly sited in an area identified in the Master Plan as “High Intensity”. Eva Mar is wrongly sited in an area identified in the Master Plan as “Low Intensity”.
ZONING: Lorien is properly located on a property zoned B2 (medium intensity business), and has 2 buildings. Eva Mar is wrongly located on property zoned R1 (lowest density residential allowing only single family homes), and is a giant commercial complex including condos, apartments, business/retail facilities, plus huge, towering nursing/assisted living buildings.
NEIGHBORHOOD IMPACTS: Lorien is properly located in a commercial area where it will not harm the neighbors. Lorien’s neighbors to the front and on both sides are all large, active businesses, and behind it are the elementary school’s sports fields. Eva Mar is wrongly located in the midst of many neighborhoods of single family homes where its massive size, its buildings too close to neighboring homes, its operational impacts and its excessive traffic will harm the neighbors.
So Lorien – Forest Hill is appropriate. Eva Mar is not. Get it?

You might want to check in with Mr O because apparently you are off target. It’s all about Harford county traffic and people who can’t drive.
Hope that helps.
ThinkAgain says
The neighbors have important traffic and traffic safety concerns, yes, but it’s just one of many valid concerns they raised. Many of their concerns could have been solved by the developer… but weren’t. As usual.

So sad that some people completely miss the boat. The growth and development of Harford County impacts everyone – home owners, workers, students, business owners, drivers, commuters, and, of course, tax payers. How all of our goals for improved quality of life and sustainability are supported is the key. You either become aware and get involved or you sit back and criticize and complain all the time without any clue of what’s happening. The whole purpose of CIMs (Community Impact Meetings) is to allow everyone the opportunity to understand what is being proposed and express any concerns. Hopefully you’ll attend and learn something..

Yea well I’m going to sit around and wait till it happens in my back yard just like Bill Fred and Gary.
If you see one of them at the meeting please let us know.
