From the Harford County Chamber of Commerce:
After two years as Director of Membership and Operations, Angela Rose has accepted a new role. Rose will take over the role of president and chief executive officer of the Harford County Chamber of Commerce. She starts May 16.
A committee of Harford County Chamber of Commerce board members and respected business leaders in the community began a national search for the ideal candidate in March 2016. “Your Harford County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is proud to announce the selection of Angela Rose as our new Chief Executive Officer,” states Bill Suchting, Chairman of the Board for the Harford County Chamber. “She has consistently demonstrated hands-on management, dedication to duty and sincere concern for every Chamber member. Our board is very confident that Angela is a great leader for our staff and will meet or exceed the many goals we have established in support of our business community.”
With an extensive background in strategic planning, operations management, consultation and administration, in addition to a degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Baltimore, Rose has already made a positive impact on the Harford County Chamber as Director of Membership and Operations. Highlights of her accomplishments include the implementation of effective guidelines, policies and procedures, establishing an internship program, and the organization and execution of the State record breaking membership recruitment event that resulted in over 200 new members and established the Harford Chamber as the largest Chamber in the Greater Baltimore region. She is the mother of BellaMia, 13, and Gianna, 9, and resides in Bel Air.
