From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
On Saturday, August 8, at approximately 9:50 pm, deputies assigned to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Southern Precinct responded to the 4800 block of Atlas Cedar Way for the report of two pedestrians struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 3-year-old female and her pregnant mother suffering from minor injuries as the result of being struck by a car. The driver remained at the scene. Deputies immediately rendered first aid, and both were transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment. Both suffered minor injuries and are expected to recover.
Through initial investigation, it was determined that a male driver was traveling along Atlas Cedar Way at a low rate of speed when he struck the pedestrians. The investigation continues.
