The meeting was a joke. The Blake's are looking to rezone to R2 for one reason only- more money for them and the developer. The representative from Ward dodged the question and talked like a politiician. Also, the Blake's offered to put a deed restriction to forbid townhomes ONLY if they could get R2 (another way of saying- “support our R2 request or we will not be a good neighbor to the other communities'). If they want to be a good neighbor, put the deed restriction on no matter what the outcome. As always, it is all about MONEY, MONEY and MONEY and in this case its about GREED!!
