Prisoner Dies At Detention Center After Being TASERed

(Bel Air, MD – June 13, 2009) – Harford County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of Dwight Jerome Madison, 48, who has no fixed address.

On June 11, 2009 at 8:50 p.m. deputies responded to the 900 block of Hillswood Road, Bel Air for a reported suspicious person who was later identified as Dwight Madison. Madison did not live in the vicinity and claimed that he was looking for a friend who he only knew by a first name. He was advised to leave the area, which is private property, by the responding deputy. At 10:54 p.m. deputies were again called to the 900 block of Hillswood Road, Bel Air for a reported suspicious person banging on doors. Prisoner’s Death Ruled Accidental

(Bel Air, MD – September 2, 2008) – The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Maryland has released the cause and manner of death for Justin Eugene Bolden.

The Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the manner of death as accidental as a result of cocaine intoxication, complicated by an airway obstruction of foreign material.

The Circuit Court for Harford County issued a warrant for Bolden’s arrest on Thursday May 29, 2008 for violating his probation. On Friday May 30, 2008 at 8:11 pm, deputies located and arrested Bolden without incident at the WAWA convenience store in the 3500 block of Conowingo Road, Street, MD and transported him to the Harford County Detention Center in Bel Air, MD.

During the booking process, officers conducted a routine, thorough search of Bolden when he became uncooperative and attempted to conceal cocaine that he had hidden on his person. Within ...Continue Reading
