DEPUTIES INVESTIGATE SUSPICIOUS DEATH
(Aberdeen, MD – June 13, 2009) – Harford County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of an unidentified white male found on railroad tracks in Aberdeen, MD.
On Saturday June 13, 2009 at 6:48 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a CSX train conductor advising he observed what appeared to be a body laying on the railroad tracks in the area of Loflin Road and Old Philadelphia Road, Aberdeen, MD. Deputies responded and discovered a deceased white male lying on the tracks.
It is believed that the male subject was struck by a train sometime during the night or early morning. He is further described as wearing a gray tee shirt, blue jeans, boxer briefs, and a gold chain around his neck.
Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident and are attempting to identify the subject. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Harford County Sheriff’s Office at 410-838-6600.
