Quick police response and good investigative work has lead to the arrest warrant of Michael D. Barber of Bronx, New York.
Barber is wanted for a homicide that occurred in the early morning hours of July 4th at the Highland Commons Apartment Complex, formerly known as Baldwin Manor. Barber was last seen in a dark colored 2000 AUDI with New York tag ERV5831.
Anyone with information on Barber’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Aberdeen Police Department at 410-272-212, extension 131.

it just proves a point. you can renovate the buildings. but cater to the same type of people. these druggies have been filtering in for years. more commonly by train. the folk’s over at Winston’s Choice. were in for a shock when they discovered they moved in to & beside a low income houseing area.
APD should put Officer Adkins on the case, that is if the NAACP gives them permission.
This is upsetting indeed. I as well hope they are able to get to the bottom of this situation. However, i have a few concerns. (Vietnam Vet) where does it say he’s a druggy? Or are you simply making the assumption based on appearance? Also, do you travel with criminals that much to understand how and where they are moving?
But that is not my issue. I read this article yesterday, and came back today to see if anything had been updated. Which it had not. I am from harford county, and am aslo a concerned member of the community, however i did not notice much mention about the victim. Whats his name etc? Is that an issue of concern to your readers?
Is this a case of awareness for the sake of awareness or for the sake of character demolition? I enjoy reading some things that Dagger Press has to “commentate” on. Please understand that it would be wise to discover the entire facts and findings before documenting, thanks.

When you have a murder occur in a high drug/gang area or near one and the suspect is from New York City there’s a pretty good chance it’s drug and gang related….
Most of the murders in Harford County are drug and gang related (same goes for home invasions, street robberies, etc.) Frequently both the victims and suspects are known gang bangers and dealers. Dunno if that’s the case here or not, but if someone drove down from NY to kill someone then I’d say it’s fairly likely it is in this case.
Randon rant I’am very familar with the ”activity” that takes place in low income houseing. it is not the first shooting, that occured there. nor is it uncommon for new yorker’s to appear there. at first it was the boy’s from ” philly” coming to trade.
Mark train access. the local’s from Essex on saturday, night. Heavy police patrolling simply pushed it inside. I can assure you the Aberdeen P.D. is on the ball.
