B. Gregory Adolph announces his candidacy for the Office of Town Commissioner of Bel Air. His decision comes from an effort to involve himself more in his community and to make a positive difference in the future of Bel Air. Adolph is a life-long resident of Bel Air, has spent the last five years living in the Town, and has owned his home in Town for over three years.
As a young adult, Adolph has observed an absence of young citizens who are involved with their communities. Furthermore, he understands the importance for structure and accountability in any organization. He envisions a Commissioner as one who is active in the community as well as approachable to his constituents. Adolph has great interest in Bel Air as a place for community, culture, and commerce.
In his press conference on Thursday morning, Adolph stressed the need for continued public safety efforts so as to make Bel Air a center for business, retail, and residence. He also stressed the importance of productive use of space, continued revitalization of Main Street, tough decision making on budgetary issues, and investment in our infrastructure to maintain our high quality of life.
B. Gregory Adolph has worked since 2005 as an engineer with GW Stephens in Belcamp. Adolph is a 2005 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and a 2001 graduate of The John Carroll School. He is the son of Brian and Laurie Manns Adolph of Bel Air, and husband of Caroline Thomey Adolph.

I’ve known Greg Adolph for several years and is one of the most reliable, upstanding, and respectable young men I have ever met. I’m proud to know him. His character is true and strong and I couldn’t think of anyone more suited for the job. Harford County needs the youth and drive of people like Adolph.

I have have meet this young man on numerous occasions and have been truly impressed with him.
His background will be an invaluable asset on the Bel Air Board of Commissioners and his youth would bring a much more energetic vision for our future.
I attended his announcement and press release on the stairs of Town Hall his address was simple precise and to the point this is the new generation and leadership that is desperately needed.
