The Dagger will moderate and host a Candidates Forum for Bel Air Town Commissioner candidates, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. at Bel Air Town Hall.
Also, video of the forum will be posted after the event on www.daggerpress.com.
The forum, sponsored by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance, will be moderated by The Dagger and will consist of 30-second opening statements by each candidate, followed by 90-second responses by each candidate to the same, pre-determined questions. The candidates will then offer 90-second responses to pre-screened individual questions from the audience, which will be presented by the moderator. Finally, each candidate will have 90 seconds to make a closing statement.
Questions may be submitted at email@example.com, and the doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for questions to be submitted during the forum.
The Forum is neither a debate nor a question/answer exchange with the audience, but is designed to be a structured format for each candidate to address important issues in Bel Air and individually present their strengths and priorities in seeking to be a Town Commissioner.
Invitations have gone out to candidates who have already filed, and we’ll post a final list of those participating as soon as we have it.
I’d like to know how the candidatests plan to restore the budget to 2005 levels since my properties are now worth about their 2005 values?
As of Friday afternoon, both incumbents, Dave Carey and Rob Preston, and challenger Greg Adolph have confirmed their participation in the Bel Air Candidate’s Forum.

I am wondering how I can obtain a copy of the Candidates Forum video. I am unable to locate a link on the Dagger. Thanks.
Well, this article is over a year old. I’m sure the videos were taken down months ago.
