Fatality Involving Bobcat Tractor in Joppa

From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:

(Joppa, MD – February 11, 2010) Shortly after 12:00pm on Thursday, February 11, 2010, Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded to a call regarding an accident which involved a man trapped under a Bobcat tractor in the 2400 block of Old Mountain Road Central, in Joppa MD.

The victim was attempting to make repairs to his Bobcat skid loader, when he became trapped underneath the hydraulic lift of the equipment. Johnathan David Maxwell, age 29, of Watkinsville, Georgia was pronounced dead at the scene, by paramedics, due to injuries sustained.
