From the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Northeast Regional Office:
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD (June 10, 2010) – Deputy State Fire Marshals arrested Daniel Martin Frank, 46, of Havre de Grace for possession of an improvised explosive device.
Frank was taken into custody at the Havre de Grace Police Department.
The device was originally located at Frank’s residence on 113 Wilson Street in Havre de Grace, Harford County on April 29, 2010. After a through investigation by both the Office of the State Fire Marshal and the Havre de Grace Police Department, a warrant was obtained for Frank’s arrest on June 3, 2010. Frank subsequently turned himself in today at Havre de Grace Police Department without incident.
Frank is charged with Possession of a Destructive Device. If convicted of the charge, Frank faces a penalty of twenty-five years imprisonment and/or a fine of $250,000, or both.
Frank was transported to the Harford County Detention Center where he will be held pending a hearing with the District Court Commissioner.
