From the State Fire Marshal’s Office:
Deputy State Fire Marsha’s arrested Mark Edward Milcarzyk (44), for setting fire to his 2001 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The fire occurred on March 12, 2010 in the driveway of Milcarzyk’s residence on Willoughby Beach Road in Edgewood, Maryland. Milcarzyk turned himself in at the Harford County Detention Center this morning, where he was taken into custody by investigators on an open warrant.
Milcarzyk is charged with Arson 2nd Degree, Malicious Burning 2nd Degree, Malicious Burning for Fraud and False Statement to an Officer. If convicted of the charges Milcarzyk faces penalties of up to 27 years imprisonment and/or $36,000 in fines.
He is currently beingheld at the Harford County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
