From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
On Sunday, July 11, 2010 at approximately 5:20 p.m., the Harford County Emergency Operations Center received a 911 call indicating that someone had been shot in the first block of Yorkshire Drive in Edgewood, MD. Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies quickly arrived on the scene. As they entered Yorkshire Drive, a person in a SUV flagged down the deputies a short distance from where the shooting had occurred. The driver of the SUV, identified as a relative of one of the victims, was en route to a hospital with two victims of gunshot wounds. In the back seat of his vehicle were Solothol Thomas Delilly, age 18 of Edgewood MD and Rashad Colyns, age 18. Both had been shot in the torso area of their bodies.
The victims were transported by ambulance to the hospital for their injuries. Delilly was taken by Joppa Magnolia Fire Volunteer Fire Company to The University of Maryland Shock Trauma, while Colyns was taken to John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center by Abingdon Volunteer Fire Company. As of 7pm this evening, Delilly was listed in critical but stable condition. Colyns was listed in stable condition.
As of 10 p.m., July 11, 2010, Harford County Sheriff’s Office detectives have a suspect in custody.
