Richard Lynch, Director of the Harford County Department of Inspections, Licenses and Permits (DILP) has announced the appointment of G. Scott Schott as the new Chief Plumbing Inspector. Schott replaces Larry Windon who retired from county government July 1, 2010.
Commenting on the appointment, Director Lynch stated, “The Department of Inspections, Licenses and Permits is pleased to announce the appointment of G. Scott Schott as Chief Plumbing Inspector. Scott brings with him more than 15 years of experience as a licensed master plumber within Harford County. Lynch added, Scott has demonstrated exceptional technical knowledge of County codes and has maintained an excellent working relationship with the industry during his five years as an inspector within our division. Scott’s experience and expertise regarding the responsibilities of the department’s plumbing services division makes him an excellent choice for Chief Plumbing Inspector,” Lynch stated.
The primary responsibility of the Chief Plumbing Inspector is to ensure compliance with State and local laws and regulations as they pertain to plumbing installations within Harford County.
Mr. Schott joined Harford County Government and DILP in September 2005. His appointment as the Chief Plumbing Inspector was effective August 9, 2010.
