From the State Highway Administration:
The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) is continuing a $595,000 project to resurface MD 165 (Pylesville Road) from MD 543 (Ady Road) to the Pennsylvania state line. SHA suspended work during the Labor Day weekend and is resuming the project this week.
The resurfacing project will protect the pavement from weather-related deterioration and improve the pavement’s ride quality. During road work, temporary lane closures and flagging operations along sections of Pylesville Road may occur between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday. The resurfacing project is scheduled for completion in mid-October. The State’s contractor for this project is Slurry Pavers, Inc. of Glen Allen, Va.
