The Harford County Department of Community Services is proud to present the 1st annual Youth Volunteer Expo, designed to inform the community about youth volunteer opportunities available throughout Harford County. The Youth Volunteer Expo will be held Saturday, September 25th at The John Carroll School, 703 E. Churchville Road in Bel Air, from 9am-1pm.
Has your child expressed and interest in volunteering but didn’t know where to start or what opportunities were available? Do you want to spend quality time with your family while helping the community? Does your child need more service learning hours? If you answered yes to any of these, come to the Youth Volunteer Expo!
The Youth Volunteer Expo is free and open to everyone of all ages. With nearly 30 participating organizations on site, anyone who comes can find a volunteer opportunity suited to their interest. Whether once a year, once a month, or once a week, exciting and rewarding volunteer opportunities are available.
So swing by the Youth Volunteer Expo, meet numerous groups looking for youth volunteers, and walk away with a volunteer job. Bring the entire family. We look forward to seeing you at the Expo.
