From Harford County Government:
(Bel Air, MD) – The Harford County Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering has scheduled a community meeting for Tuesday, March 29, 2011 for the purpose of discussing the replacement of the Carrs Mill Road Bridge, #216, over Bear Cabin Branch. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of Fallston High School and will commence at 6:00 p.m.
Personnel from the Department of Public Works will make a brief presentation regarding the bridge replacement project, followed by a question and answer session.
Those who are unable to attend the meeting, but would like to offer comments should contact Glen Hebel, Project Engineer for the Department of Public Works at 410-638-3509, Ext. 1344, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
I must be getting old. But I’m only in my early 40’s. I remember the one land bridge on Carrs Mill and how friendly Fallston was back then. We would wave to the passing driver to let them advance first. So what is wrong with this “new” bridge”
