The America’s Farmers Grow Communities program, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, supports local farming communities and allows farmers to register to win $2,500 for their favorite community nonprofit organization, such as FFA, 4-H, schools, fire departments and other civic groups. One winner is selected in each of 1,204 eligible counties in 38 states. North Harford High School Future Farmers of Amercia (FFA) Chapter was nominated by David Rutledge and won! A check presentation ceremony will be held at North Harford High on April 19, 2011, during the school’s Tractor Day/Agricultural Heritage Day.
