From Maryland State Police, Bel Air Barrack:
BEL AIR – State Troopers from the Bel Air Barrack “D” are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a subject who robbed the Pizza Hut Express in Bel Air early Saturday morning.
Troopers, assisted by the Bel Air Police Department and Harford County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the carry-out establishment in the 1200 block of East Churchville Road, Bel Air, MD 21014 after employees reported a lone assailant accosted them shortly after 12:37 a.m. Pizza Hut Express employees told State Police investigators the masked robber entered the establishment, brandished a knife and demanded cash from the eatery and personnel items from the employees.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of US currency and several items from one of the employees, the suspect fled the establishment on foot. The Pizza Hut Express employees advised they last saw the bandit running behind the building near Moores Mill Road.
The Pizza Hut Express employees described the robber as a white male clad in black sweatshirt, black pants and wearing a black mask. The suspect was between 18 and 25 years old, nearly 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighed around 175 pounds.
The primary investigator in this case is Trooper First Class A. Dudek, assigned to the Criminal Investigation Section at the Bel Air Barrack “D.”
