The state fire marshal’s office is investigating a small shed fire which broke out at a Kingsville residence Thursday night.
The blaze was reported by a neighbor just after 9:30 p.m. at a residence on the 2600 block of Whitt Road in Kingsville, fire officials said. The fire broke out in the interior of a 12-foot by 18-foot shed, and was brought under control in about 15 minutes by 25 firefighters from the Kingsville, Joppa, Fallston and Bel Air fire companies.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Damage to the shed is estimated at $1,000, while damages to its contents are estimated at $2,000.
