State fire officials are investigating a fire which broke out in a car early Tuesday morning.
According to the state fire marshal’s office, the owner of a 2002 Ford Mustang reported that the outside rear of her car was on fire at approximately 1:10 a.m. Tuesday on the 1600 block of Meadowood Court in Edgewood.
A total of 10 firefighters from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company brought the blaze under control in about 10 minutes. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at approximately $10,000.
