Baltimore City Police Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld III will be this week’s guest on “The Harford Edge”, airing live Friday morning, May 25th from 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. on WAMD Radio 970 AM in Aberdeen.
Commissioner Bealefeld began his police service in Baltimore in 1981 and has served in almost all operational units of the Baltimore Police Department, rising to the head of the nation’s eighth largest police agency in 2007. As commissioner, Bealefeld revamped the city’s crime fighting strategy and is credited with reductions in gun violence and homicide. He has announced plans to retire in August.
