Subject: Announcement from Bill Lawrence
As HCPS enters a phase of transition I am taking this opportunity to move into another round of my golf career.
As of June 30, 2013, I am resigning my position as Associate Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. I have enjoyed my work with the HCPS community tremendously and am most impressed that most of you either send, have sent or will send your children to our schools. There is no higher compliment to an organization. HCPS is a good school system striving to be great and to provide the BEST for ALL of its students. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with you.
“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.” Emerson, Ralph Waldo
