Cinderella’s Closet stocked by the Aberdeen Lioness Lions Club’s Fairy Godmothers “Giving every girl a chance for a night to remember…”
As in the past two years, many lucky young ladies have a group of very enthusiastic “fairy godmothers” – known as members of the Aberdeen Lioness Lions Club. These fairy godmothers know that every girl, no matter how economically challenged, deserves a chance to dance with her prince at the prom. They have been collecting over 500 donated new and used beautiful gowns in various sizes all year in preparation for this year’s “Cinderella’s Closet FREE Give-Away Events”. They recently received $15,000 in donated dresses from Amanda Richie Bridal.
This year the Holiday Inn Express in Aberdeen has generously donated their location for the Cinderella ‘s Closet Give-Away Events on the following dates and times:
Saturday, March 16, 2013 9 am – 12 pm
Sunday, March 24, 1 pm – 4 pm
Saturday, March 30, 9 am to 12 pm
Holiday Inn Express is located at 1007 Beards Hill Road, Aberdeen MD
Girls must show current high school ID to receive a dress.
Limited quantities and sizes – first come, first served
Donated gowns of any size suitable for Prom attire, are now being accepted at the following locations throughout the county: Amanda’s Florist in Havre de Grace; Pizazz Wedding Boutique and Heart to Heart Hair Studio in Aberdeen; and K&B Bridal in Bel Air.
