Three candidates made it to the final selection process as hopefuls to replace Harford County Democratic Central Committee member, Jerry Comeau, who recently resigned. The President of the Democratic Party’s leading body in Harford County, Wendy Sawyer, chaired Tuesday’s voting session.
Sawyer stated of the vote, “We had several candidates, with such qualified candidates for a Central Committee seat, Harford County Democrats should really be proud”.
The candidates, Tom Myers, former President of Harford’s’ Young Dem’s, Devin Deford, a student at Delaware State University, and Duvowel Peaker, a married, 22 year US Army Veteran, with strong family ties throughout the county, were each interviewed by the board.
And, after much deliberation the board elected Peaker to fill the vacancy on the 10-member board group.
Congrats to Duval. Proud to have served with you. You will do well in your newly elected position.
Why is this information being reported by Jansen Robinson? Shouldn’t the selection have been made public in an official DCC press release coming from Ms. Sawyer?

Tom Myers was too busy working on getting Wendy Rosen released. He feels a great deal of responsibility since she was charged and convicted on his watch.
In light of her husband’s recent tragic and sudden death, shame on you for making light of her predicament.
And Rosen took a plea. She’s currently on probation.
And to my knowledge, the Democrats in Harford, and Maryland for that matter, endorsed John LaFerla and his write-in campaign in 2012.
Well, yes, Dave. Rosen did take a plea. She pled GUILTY. And she was the candidate endorsed by the Democrats UNTIL she was outed and charged. Then they scrambled to cover their embarrassment and endorse somebody, anybody. And since it was too late to do anything else they grabbed Ferla like a Titanic passenger grabbing a life preserver.
I don’t get it. Myers is clearly the right choice. He’s a liberals dream.
– 30 years old and still lives with Mommy.
– A worthless college education that he’s sure to stick the tax payers with the bill for.
– A massive ego despite having accomplished nothing with his life.
– 10 years of loyal service at 7-11
– Probably works with illegals at the taco joint where he busses tables.
(that’s multiculturalism right there!)
– Believes in government handouts (for him) and more taxes (for everyone else)
– He clearly has no problem getting up in public to speak to silent audiences and eventually get booed off stage.
He’s an all around perfect liberal. The model for the rest of you.
So, Fatty, do you and Terrance have personal issues with Tom? Or do you just like being dicks?

Tom Myers is a financially & economically illiterate liberal progressive. And I disagree with him politically.
But there’s no reason to insult him because he’s trying to work his way up the comedian ladder, work a job that allows him the flexibility to do so and if his parents are okay with subsidizing his career plan that’s their business.
What you doing is small. You should stop.

My friends had the misfortune of going to Tom’s restaurant. Apparently the first thing you see when you walk in is Tom’s smiling mug behind the cash register. He should at least put on an oversized sombrero so the customers don’t lose their appetites.
So, Terrance, do you and Fatty have personal issues with Tom? Or do you just like being dicks?
