From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
Stabbing – On June 27th at 11:38 p.m. deputies responded to the 1600 block of Candlewood Ct. Edgewood for a report of possible stabbing. Upon arrival deputies spoke with the victim, an 18 year old male, who was not stabbed but told police he was in the area and was attacked by several male suspects – one of them who had knife. He reported being able to disarm the subject and in defending himself stabbed or cut two of the men who attacked him.
Deputies then located the two subjects who were either stabbed or cut. One, a 20 year old male, was found in the 1600 block of Meadowood Court. He suffered injuries to his thigh. EMS personnel from the Joppa Magnolia VFC treated him at the scene and subsequently transported him to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital. A second subject, a 19 year old male, was located on Burlington Court and suffered lacerations to his upper body and was also transported by medical personnel to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital.
While their conditions are at present, unknown, their injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The investigation is in continuing and detectives are not releasing the names of those involved at this time. As police speak to witnesses about this crime they are also looking at any possible connections between the homicide and the stabbings that occurred earlier this week. They are asking for the public’s help. I had to read this about 65,000 times just to try an understand it. It didn’t help. Anyone else think that this entire story about being an innocent victim is BS? If it isn’t BS they need to hire this guy and make him Meadowhood Security Patrol.

Okay, I see Gahler constantly being attacked for putting letters on here about what his plan is to solve problem crime areas. This is the second story in about five days of violent crime in Edgewood. The election is in November. Where is Bane’s plan to stop the violence that he has had six years to work on? Where is Bob Peck’s plan to stop the crime? Now you can bash me and say I am supporting Gahler and that is fine. If you do this you are just doing what you Baner’s always do and that is distract from the issue. How can Bane and his people say Edgewood is safer after his time in office. From what I read it seems to be the same old same old in Edgewood. Meadows fixed the problem. Go back and do some research from the time Meadows came into office and Sheriff Golding left office and see if you see a change after Bane took over? Harford County you have great cops and correctional officers who want to do their job the way they need to but can’t. You need support from the people above you in order to do your job and that is not there right now. So if you want more bodies to hit the pavement then stay on the path that Bane. He has shown he is incompetent to change, lead, and fight crime in Harford County.
Marc Eaton and family- Jesse Bane and his commanders and other personnel do have a plan. Maybe you have not heard about it yet. Things are in the works or already happening but won’t be disclosed to the public. This gives the element of surprise and doesn’t give the plan away to the criminal element. You should no that not everything need to be posted to the public. Officer safety is more important right Marc?
I don’t know who those “other personnel” are that you speak of when making a plan with Bane and his Commanders, but it doesn’t include the deputies, we have not been told anything yet. Guess they don’t trust the deputies to not tell the criminals what the plan is.
Union, there is no plan. He would not discuss anything at the Union Meeting as what he will be doing because it might be used against him. Discount, you hit it on the head. 8 years to do something and now he is coming up with a plan before the election. It has nothing to do with Officers safety, it has everything to do with politics and Bane’s continuing incompetence. Also Proud , you are wrong. You go to the public and let them know something is in the works so they are not surprised. You don’t have to give them the plan. I wonder if it will include Eagle 1 and dropping propaganda over Edgewood.
Yes, I know that as of today there was no plan. There was a meeting of several command staff and other special units regarding what to play out to the public in an attempt to lead the public to believe that HCSO is addressing the violence in Edgewood.
Bane is up in arms about all the bad press that is occurring with the crap going down in Edgewood. Wrong kind of publicity for him in an election year…… especially after he has been telling everyone that crime is way down. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Liberal how convenient that Lionel and his minions have a new secret plan that they are not divulging, just as election time approaches. Funny how Bane has had 8 years to come up with a plan yet finally formulates one 5 months before the election. I guess he’s going to steal Gahler’s ideas and credit them as his own as he normally does. By the way, do you know how stupid you sound talking about secret plans?
