From the Aberdeen Police Department:
An employee of the Aldi Food Market located at 746 S. Philadelphia Blvd. was surprised Friday morning, August 8, 2014 when a man entered the store, accosted the manager in his office after displaying a weapon and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money. The man was wearing dark clothing and covering the lower portion of his face during the robbery with a fake beard in an attempt to conceal his identity. The store employee was ordered to surrender monies from the office into a bag. The man fled the scene on foot.
The Aberdeen Police Department responded to the report of an armed robbery and quickly canvassed the area with negative results.
The video shown depicts the suspect entering the Aldi Market with and without the disguise at alternate times. The Aberdeen Police Department requests anyone with information concerning the identity of the male in the video to contact police at 410-272-2121 and request Detective M. Alexander.
Maybe they should check the area of the milk and butter section.I would think that there are cameras all over the store.I was there
